Yes. Breakfast is available each morning and includes a selection of sourdough bread with spreads, muesli and cereal, yogurt, seasonal local fruit, and our smoothie of the day. We prepare breakfast fresh in small amounts, and you’re welcome to ask for more during breakfast hours.
All of our accommodations include Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, fresh filtered drinking water, a minibar, premium towels, and basic toiletries. Individual rooms and Joglos have different layouts, views and features, so please check the accommodation details for anything specific, such as a bathtub or terrace.
Yes. Aura Cempaka is accessible by car, and free on-site parking is available for guests. Cars and motorbikes can reach the property directly.
Yes. We can help arrange airport transfers and private transportation to destinations such as Ubud, Padang Bai, Amed and other parts of Bali. We also have scooters and motorbikes available to rent, which can be arranged directly at Aura Cempaka.
Yes. We can help arrange guided trekking through the rice fields and villages around Sidemen, as well as local tours, waterfalls and other activities in the area. You can also walk directly from Aura Cempaka through the rice fields down to the river. Our team can help you choose something that suits your interests and the time you have.
Sidemen has a good range of places to eat. Close to Aura Cempaka, Klungah Restaurant at Natural View and Warung Bulih Sidemen at Uma Duran are convenient local choices; Klungah Restaurant & Warung Bulih can also deliver to Aura Cempaka.
For a lunch or dinner out, other good options include Klungah Restaurant, Warung Bulih Sidemen, Koli Koli Bali, Asri Dining by Samanvaya and Sahaja at Samanvaya, as well as Sleeping Gajah Kitchen & Lounge at Wapa di Ume Sidemen. Samanvaya currently operates both Asri Dining and Sahaja, while Wapa di Ume’s main restaurant is Sleeping Gajah Kitchen & Lounge.
Yes. Massage and spa treatments are available at Aura Spa, here at Aura Cempaka. Treatments can be arranged during your stay, subject to therapist availability. Please ask our team and we’ll be happy to help you choose and schedule a treatment.
What should I expect from the natural surroundings?
Aura Cempaka is in a tropical, natural environment. You may occasionally see geckos, frogs, insects and other small creatures. They are a normal part of life in rural Bali.
If a creature has found its way into your room and is making you uncomfortable, please let us know. Our staff will be happy to assist. Mosquito repellent for your skin and insect spray for the room are also available if needed.
Yes. Our accommodations have near-continuous hot water using on-demand water heaters connected to dual propane tanks. There is plenty of hot water for a long shower or a full bath.
Yes. Laundry service is available for IDR 30,000 per kilogram, with a typical 24-hour turnaround. A laundry bag and item list are provided in your room.
Your laundry is washed separately from other guests’ clothing, which helps prevent items from being mixed up or lost.
We accept payment in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), as well as bank transfer and credit card.
We do not currently provide extra beds. However, our Joglos have sofas that can be prepared with pillows and bed linen for one additional guest, subject to availability and the accommodation’s occupancy limits.
